Oh burger & co what happened to you ! On Sunday sept 24 the following happened.
1 all social media says open at 11 but arriving at 11:56 are told we will have to wait 15 mins is that ok? 2 finally got food at 12:25. 3 they were doing floor mopping and cleaning till 12:10 - I mean serious night cleaning NOT a brush up for the morning 4 there were 3 empty beer bottles on the counter ? Hmmm 5 I could see the sink and it was overflowing with washed dishes- when making a shake a guy grabbed something and a few things fell down- you guessed it right back from the floor to the top of the clean pile 6 - they are clearly not closing down at night properly - Gordon Ramsey would have a field day 7 all three guys are at 1/2 speed like they are coming off a Saturday night bender- super slow. 8 there are 10 people waiting for food at 12:10 ish and really only one of the three is focused on food / at an ants pace that one. 9 the guy who looks like the manager takes a smoke Break at 12:30 comes back in and you guessed it right to work no washing hands 10 - no one ever bothers to clean out that sink but they had time - the three of them, to stand around and chat several times
The food - what happened
11 remember that crispy flaky light fresh bun - forget it, it was slightly cold on top warm on bottom - and hard hard hard - at least a day of sitting out to do this I would guess 2 days tho
12 the tomato was clearly not sliced today - it was getting all grainy like tomatoes do when left out too long -
It tasted ok - but it's a huge drop off in quality I mean gigantic - I don't know who owns this place but these guys all three of them were pathetic - wow!
I'm done with the place but I hope the owner reads this and saves it - I know there is not a ton of competition in Taipei for good burgers but the drop off was utterly stunning from 3 past...

Initially wowed by their delivery burgers, we were eager to visit Burger Co’s physical location. The space is small but cozy, creating a welcoming vibe for burger enthusiasts.
FOOD:
We ordered their double patty burger adding extra onions, jalapeños, and bacon and the truffle burger. The burgers arrived looking juicy and substantial. Overall, they were tasty, with the meat delivering a distinct grilled flavor and undeniable juiciness. However, we occasionally encountered sinewy bits in the patties, which raised slight concerns about the quality of the meat preparation. The juiciness, while a strength, became a drawback as the bottom bun turned soggy, making it tricky to eat neatly. The truffle burger was a letdown, as it lacked any discernible truffle flavor despite its promising name.
SERVICE:
The service was friendly and efficient, with burgers prepared quickly, adding to a pleasant dining experience.
VERDICT:
Burger Co serves up solid, juicy, meaty burgers that stand out among the 10+ burger spots we’ve tried. However, they could improve by ensuring cleaner meat cuts to avoid sinew. The soggy bun issue can be mitigated by eating quickly. Overall, it’s a great spot for a flavorful burger, especially if you’re nearby—definitely...
Read moreIt was my first Burger in Taipei and Asia in general, I had some expectations based on people’s reviews but to be honest, it was quite normal.
I mean, it is definitely far better than a fast food burger. No doubt on that!
But I had a Cheeseburger and, well, it was everything you’d except from a Cheeseburger at this price.
The burger costed me, if my memory is right, somewhere around 300nt$. But I found it a little bit overpriced for what I had.
The Burger in itself is super small, like really small. However the meat tastes good and its ingredients are fresh.
For me, it is the definition of a cheeseburger. Period.
But it has nothing special. No sparkle, no combos when eating everything together, no particular taste or ingredients. It was just me eating a Burger for 2 minutes, paying, and leaving.
I was alone in the restaurant on a rainy day at around 3PM, the restaurant was calm, and the staff was as classic as the burger.
With some more experience in tasting burgers in many different countries, I realize that this Burger & Co Cheeseburger I had was just an...
