Everywhere Burger Club — Restaurant in Da'an District

TL;DR: Burger is pretty decent (bun was dry) but service and restaurant management is horrendous. Would not recommend but if you do come, be ready for a 30 min to 2.5 hour wait.

I really wish I could give this place a higher rating since the food was actually pretty good; however, the lack of knowledge regarding managing a restaurant is severely lacking.

I arrived with a friend at 12:30 PM and put our name down. We saw that there were around 20 parties ahead of us so we stepped outside and figured the wait wouldn’t be that bad since it’s a burger spot....we were so wrong. We ended up waiting 2 AND A HALF HOURS before they even called us. During the wait, the waitresses/cashiers were extremely slow in cleaning up after customers left and calling the next party in line. They also weren’t coordinating with each other on multiple occasions in regards to which parties were called, leading to confusion for everyone waiting.

We went in to check how many parties were ahead of us a couple of times during our wait. When we were the next party up, I asked the cashier if we could order first so our food would be ready quicker by the time we sat down. The cashier/waitress looked at me like I was crazy for asking and hesitantly decided to let us do so. While waiting, the cashiers allowed an random middle-aged lady who didn’t put her name down on the waitlist was allowed to order and sit down at the bar seating WHILE THERE WERE STILL 15+ PARTIES WAITING. We thought she was an owner or friend of the workers but realized she wasn’t later on as she was taking pictures of the restaurant.

We ordered 2 Double Smashed Burgers with 2 combos (Fries, Sweet Potatoes, and 2 Cokes). After we ordered, the cashier pointed at a party of 2 and said “when they’re done, you can take their spot.” Problem was, they had already finished their meals 5 minutes before and were just talking. The two ended up taking their time while each individual went to the restroom. During this entire time, we were standing inside the restaurant waiting to sit and the waitress didn’t bother asking them to wait outside so they could clean up the area. While this other party was taking their time going to the restroom, I noticed the waitresses were getting nervous since there were still 4 parties not seated but it was already 2:50 PM.

Luckily we ordered our food in advance since when we were seated we got our food relatively quickly. The burgers were pretty good but the fries tasted as if they weren’t burnt but they were cooked normally (maybe the seasoning?). The sweet potatoes had too much extra sugar in the seasoning and was weird to eat with the salty burger.

Would not recommend unless you love waiting a long period of time for your food. I personally won’t be back until the owners or management figure out how to actually run...

Don’t come here if you value your time. Total garbage service operations.

Afternoon closing time is 3PM, came before 2:30PM and couldn’t dine in. Asked if we could takeaway instead but was turned down which is totally understandable so we decided to come back at night.

Came back at 6PM to queue up and have our name on the list then we were told that it would be about an hour before we could actually dine in. Came back again at 6:45PM and there were a lot of people who came after us that actually got to dine in first so we were forced to wait another hour before we could actually get in. Take note that we were one of the last few people outside when we got called in (at this point it was almost close to 8PM) When we got in, we were informed that the burgers we wanted to order were already out of stock.

Couldn’t you have informed people that are outside in advance that some burgers were out so that they could move on with their day instead of wasting time waiting outside?

Also, I don’t understand why this burger joint still doesn’t accept phone reservations and would instead prefer customers to wait out. That way they could actually predict how much they need for the day instead of being garbage as they are right now. Such anti-customer behavior shouldn’t...

This is my 6th and final time eating from here. Service was atrocious, and at the hands of the owner, not the waiters. The service workers are poorly trained and had to go to the back to ask every question I asked, which means the poor service came straight from the owner making burgers in the back. They don’t provide tap water. Refused to put the spicy sauce on the side for my 5 and 8 yr old kids. No plates. Burgers served wrapped individually and on the tray. But when I asked them to cut in half for my kids they came back with their burger after both halves had toppled over and the meat and onions and toppings were spread all over the tray. The owner didn’t have either the patience or common sense to wrap the two halves in the paper to give to us. When asked for a fork and knife so I could properly cut the other burger they ordered, they said they don’t have knives and presented me with a plastic mini-fork.

This place used to be one of the best in Taipei. But on a Wednesday night it was open and had empty tables. That should’ve been my first sign that they’ve had to make cutbacks. Food was very subpar.
