Nul Taipei 歐陸餐廳小酒館 — Restaurant in Da'an District

Went here for a friend’s birthday and we all left disappointed and hungry.

We ordered a mix of drinks, appetizers and main dishes, and they all came out at different times. Our drinks were five minutes aparte. Our appetizers were 10 minute apart. And our gnocchi was staggered with 15 minutes in between. When we inquired about the wait time for our food, the waiters gave us dirty looks. This is not the place to go if you want to share a meal with friends.

As for the food, the appetizers were just okay. The roasted vegetables were fresh but overly smoky. The fried chicken was decent. The gnocchi was overwhelmingly fishy and we could not finish it.

The environment was cute, and I do appreciate them letting us store our cake.

My favorite so far! honestly I wouldn’t mind to pay more for this kind of wonderful dining experience. Elegant and sensual food, detailed oriented cocktail, magical ambient decorated with fine selected music and projection. Waiters serviced with heart. What more can I ask?

Recently had a very disappointing, borderline disgusting meal at nul. The drinks and pumpkin soup were ok, but the service was extremely slow. After waiting an hour and a half without entrees, we ordered the bread to tide off hunger only receive some burnt sourdough with butter that was still frozen solid. When the chicken and shrimp pasta finally arrived (about 20 minutes apart from each other too) the chicken was rubbery and inedible. The pasta was oily and portion extremely small, with half a plate of pasta and 4 shrimp. The staff, sensing our disappointment, was kind enough to remove the chicken and bread from our bill. This kindness was unfortunately not enough to salvage such a waste of time for such subpar food. Left hungry and unhappy. Wish I had seen the other reviews with similar critiques before coming. Will not go back.

Side note: Any restaurant that needs a photo booth inside is probably overcompensating for...
