Not sure what the hype is about. If you’ve actually been to an authentic Italian restaurant, please don’t come here. 1) half the menu is not available or sold out 2) they cater to the Taiwanese crowd so the flavors just taste….terrible
Food: first of all there’s a 500NT minimum. Already not a good start. So I ended up ordering the tomato seafood soup which was basically fishy tomato water. It was so bad I only ate the shrimps and took 3 sips. I really tried but it was just inedible. The duck pasta was somehow extremely sour and extremely sweet. Almost like I was eating a sweet and sour Chinese dish. Also menu mentioned there were mushrooms in the dish. I found two slivers in the entire dish.
Service: can’t find a server half the time even though they’re running around. Felt like it was a one woman show that was trying to take everyone’s order while the other is only at the front door and the 3rd guy at the back kitchen. Each time I had to keep hailing multiple times for anyone to notice
Atmosphere: whatever “perfume” they sprayed the toilet - you can smell it through the entire restaurant. It was a sickly artificial but noticeable bathroom smell. Also it was dark but not in a nice way. You can notice random boxes and storage units they try to hide in corners.
The awards at the front desk? Means nothing and probably handed out because you’re “friends” with whomever made up that awards.
I can’t believe this place was actually recommended to me....

Service: Terrible experience. We were seated at 12:10pm and finished ordering by 12:20, it wasn’t until 1:10pm that we got our pasta. 50 minutes wait for a bowl of pasta!! We noticed that the tables beside us arrived later but finished eating before we even got our pasta. We asked the server if he can check if they missed our order or if our pasta is ready, but instead of doing so, he had so many excuses and even cut us off when we’re still talking. The server acted like it was our fault for wondering where our dishes are. The servers seemed busy but in reality they’re just inefficient. After the pasta, our desserts took 30 mins to arrive, which were also a disappointment.
Food: There’s a minimum of $500 ntd, at least 1/3 of the menu wasn’t available. So we had to order appetiser, pastas, and desserts. The appetiser was tiny for its price and the bread that came with it was stale. The pasta ( claimed to be freshly made and the pasta would be al dente) wasn’t good either, some parts were extremely undercooked while others were overcooked. The pasta was very Taiwanese. The desserts were just as disappointing, the cannoli was nowhere near authentic nor does the Mont Blanc. The Mont Blanc looks like they couldn’t make it and just slathered whipped and...
Read moreJust terrible. I arrived at 4:55pm and was told I had to finish by 6pm. Fine. I finished the appetiser and pasta at 5:20pm but the main course wasn’t served until 5:50pm (after I told the waitress I had a flight to catch). Did they seriously expect me to finish that and the dessert in 10 minutes?
Flavour wise, the food was nothing authentic and was just downright terrible/below average.
Deep fried seafood - soggy with some pieces very salty and some completely bland. The shrimp meat wouldn’t even come off the shells, which showed they were not fresh.
Pasta - seasoning was ok but the pasta itself was way undercooked (not to be confused with al dente). Imagine boiling your pasta 4 minutes shorts and the flour clumping up and sticking to your gums.
Main course (ossobuco) - didn’t get to take a picture because I had to gobble it up in a few minutes. Meat was tender but completely bland. Didn’t get to taste the smashed potatoes.
Dessert (panna cotta) - they call it the best panna cotta in all of Taiwan but it was way too firm and more like mousse. No one would call it panna cotta. Also the...
