After two months away from the U.S., this spot near Daan MRT (Exit 4, turn right) felt like a warm bite of home. I ordered the spicy cheese egg pork sandwich with fries and onion rings—and the sides shined. Crispy, golden, and full of flavor, especially the onion rings, which were perfectly seasoned and straight out of an American diner playbook. Fries had a great crunch, though I wish they packed a bit more flavor.

The sandwich offered a mild kick, with creamy sauce, lettuce, and nicely melted cheese on lightly toasted bread. Not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely a must-try if you’re craving a comfort breakfast with a Taiwanese twist.

Staff were genuinely kind and attentive—they even brought ketchup to the table without being asked. The restaurant was spotless and cozy, with an inviting layout and a big American flag that completes the vibe.

If you’re missing home—or just looking for a solid, satisfying sandwich and unbeatable onion rings—this...

5 stars to the super nice staff, 4 stars goes to the design of the restaurant, 3 is for the food itself, 2 for not having WiFi and 1 for the price.

I don’t know what that means to pay 500 for a breakfast in Taipei. But I do know that there are so many other options that you can get really nice stuff for very cheap prices. This is a half-service restaurant, which means you get your utensils, water and tissues yourself. And they don’t take credit cards.

The food was literally mediocre, in my humble opinion, it’s below the Taipei average, just slightly better than US common standards. Selling western style food shouldn’t mean that the food is supposed to be overpriced, unless it’s good.

I sincerely suggest you guys to cut the price into a half, then I can give...

Not a typical breakfast place that you'd see in Taiwan. Design and atmosphere is more of a Western style kinda ambience, and you dun't find no traditional TWN breaky stuff, instead, with sandwiches and burgers etc, pasta if you are into it for the morning. Its a bit pricy in my opinion, but when you give it a thought, its located on a busy street, there are rent factors that you'd consider after anyways. Ordered a beef patty burger along with a not-so-spicy pork burrito, and they taste amazing!! They have another restaurant not far away, where avocado are serviced the way I like it to be (not in burgers), gonna give it...
