Three stars would be too harsh just because I wasn't pleased with the coffee; 3.5, if I could. The menu has something like 24 latte flavour options and half as many for (mostly) black coffees. I had an americano and it only comes in a large mug. There was a sweetness to it, but had too strong of an ash finish and tasted watered down.
This place really wins on the atmosphere. If you manage to arrive when most of the two-seat options aren't taken by solo students with a laptop, you can get a cozy spot on a sofa or a good table to have a conversation with someone.

Read moreI don’t know if it’s part of the vibe they want to portray, but the two men working there have poor customer service. Something you don’t see often in Taipei. When entered, we were not greeted with a “hello” but a “how many are you?” Then, after we ordered our food and drinks, we asked one of the men if we could get our desert first as everything was taking so slow. He did not responded and just turned around. They didn’t seem very busy at that time either. What an attitude!

Unfortunately for us, this place wasn't meant for four of us who just needed the second place to chat after our ”second partyplace ”! The latte ad matcha cheesecakes were immensely delicious!!! We ended up sitting outside since it doesn't fit the atmosphere to sit inside! The bench outside was perfect for us! We had food time until the time to leave for us...
