Incompetent management and ridiculous reservation policy! No phone reservation, you have to go in person and the place will tell you when you can go eat! That means people have to go twice! I got a call 2 hours before my "assigned time" that I could go early because of cancelation! We rushed there and were told that we have to order a drink and something. Who are they to tell me that I have to order a drink? You can have minimum but it's insane to force people to order drinks! We waited forever for the sugar and when it came it's in the form of syrup instead of sugar cubes. I commented at the checkout to the manager regarding providing sugar cubes and she said "we have them, you just need to ask for them" . How obnoxious! Terrible Service! It's even more preposterous when it comes to "to-go". I was told I could not order early. There's a one-hour dine-in policy so I need to wait. One can only order 20 minutes before one leaves. "But I don't need to be here for an hour, why can't I order first? " said I, there came the cake I ordered while we were eating, "Here's your cake, please leave in 20 minutes ."said the server. What? The manager came to explain the policy is to be fair to other customers. I don't think any of the ridiculous policies was for the benefit of the customers. If you are out of certain desserts then you are out, no restaurants need to worry about being " Fair"! If you think about your customers, you wouldn't inconvenience them by not accepting phone reservation. You can always ask for credit card number and charge a fee for no-shows. You can have minimum but can't dictate customers what they order. When you have cancelation, you have to eat the cost because your ridiculous policy doesn't allow walk-ins. Calling a customer with pre-assigned time is just too tacky! Since you don't allow walk-ins what difference does it make? I will never go back to this kind of obnoxious place who think the customers beg for the "experience". They don't understand the best restaurants in the world offer the best customer service! This place has no class, no sense of running a good restaurants, the servers are rude, non-professional. Nope, no one needs to go there even...
Read moreWe were greeted by 90 mins dine-in rule plus one cake + one drink per person minimal spend.
My son does not like to have drinks and was forced to ordered their orange sparkling because he is taller than 110cm.
When we asked for a straw as my son is still not good at drinking without a straw. The clerk told us the paper straw is for takeaway only and cannot be provided when you dine-in. I asked if I can pay for the difference to get the straw as I understand they charged more for takeaway. The clerk refused without any consideration to a simple customer request.
If you are enforcing so many rules and force customer to spend. Provide a paper straw is not that difficult if you got it in front of you.
Cake and drink were average. If you want good customer service there are many better places in Taiwan.
I respect rules and policies but it’s about common sense and courtesy if you charging $100 AUD for 4...

Its not a cheap place to have a drink and piece of cake.
