🚨Firstly, it’s imperative to ensure that the kitchen staff consistently wash their hands after using the restroom. Observing a chef neglecting this basic hygiene practice is concerning and unappetizing. While he may argue he intended to wash his hands elsewhere, it’s important for customer confidence that handwashing occurs where visible.
As for the ambiance, upon entry, the oppressive humidity and warmth immediately catch one’s attention, suggesting inadequate air conditioning. Additionally, the sight of a dripping air conditioner adds to the disappointment upon seating.
Regarding the food quality, while the portions are generous and served promptly, the flavors are disappointingly bland, reminiscent of budget meals. The fruit juice, diluted and seemingly mixed with ice, lacks the richness expected of a fruit beverage. Despite the unavailability of desired menu items like salmon, the mackerel dish was acceptable, particularly enjoyed by the kids.
In terms of service, the restaurant staff’s demeanor is notably lacking warmth and personality, a noticeable contrast considering the family-oriented setting. However, the staff on the playground side excelled in friendliness and engagement, creating a welcoming atmosphere for children.
Ultimately, despite shortcomings in food and service, the children’s happiness is the primary concern. However, it’s evident that the establishment’s strengths lie more in its recreational offerings rather than its culinary and service...
Read moreI visited the play area with my baby and overall had a good experience—the space is clean, thoughtfully designed, and clearly created with young children in mind. Two of the staff members working that Monday afternoon were especially kind, welcoming, and helpful, which I really appreciated.
However, I did feel a bit uncomfortable with how one staff member—an older woman wearing black glasses—interacted with us. She repeatedly told my baby not to put toys in her mouth, even after I let her know that I was okay with it. My baby is under two, so mouthing toys is a completely normal part of development. The toys were wooden and, I assumed, regularly sanitized. The staff member eventually said to give her the toy once we were done with it so she could clean it, which I understand, but the overall tone felt unnecessarily strict and not very supportive of natural play behavior in younger children.
It might be helpful if the play area could clarify their policy around mouthing toys—especially since the space is open to children under two. Clear guidelines (and perhaps a mouthing-friendly toy rotation system) would really help avoid confusion and make all parents feel more supported.
That said, the space itself is lovely and most of the staff were wonderful—I’m sharing this in the hope it helps improve the...
Read moreI came with high expectations given I had a pleasant experience in the hk location. What a disappointment!
The first issue I had was the poor service attitude. When asked where my tea was the server said we are too busy right now. However I ordered it at 11:45 and it was already 12:15! The server then asked that I cancel the order if I wasn’t willing to wait any longer.
The worst part of the facility has to be the poor hygiene and poor upkeep of the toys and play area. Everything was dirty molding and just plain worn out.
The play area had limited air flowing through so that also put me off as it was so hot during the afternoon when a bunch of kids are running and playing around.
They had a broken remote control vehicle in the middle of the playroom that had the wheel broken off. It was super dangerous as it was sharp. If it’s broken and old, simply replace it.
I don’t even want to mention the food. Horrid! Rice was hard and was reheated with a microwave. I don’t expect good food at such places but...
