Ok, Honest review If your party has a member who does not want hotpot, go somewhere else. Because (if they say their true feeling) they will hate the pasta and risotto. This is a good enough place for hotpot only. If you want hotpot, you will feel happy enough. But there is better hotpot around Hualien. Warning: they do NOT have a chef. BAD: The pasta and risoto is terrible. This is the second time I visit. The first time I had pasta with "white sauce". Disgusting, water and no taste. I tell myself I will not return. This time I had what they call smoked chicken risotto. But really is Congee. Disgusting again. Like water baby food with pinapple and lots of sweetcorn and half cooked onion. No respectible resturant would offer this - it is hard to find food this bad in Hualien. Go find a fried rice shop!

This is a lovely place for proper meal. Pasta and steamboat are served with wide selection of flavour. Like: 1. All the ingredients of steamboat is organic and healthy. 2. The drink are also unique. Try yourself. 3. A lot of tables available and reservation is accepted. 4. Super friendly staff. Dislike: 1. Pricey (NT$300 for the steamboat) 2. Limited parking space.

一月初寒流來襲時來到花蓮旅遊，透過google map的搜尋發現食驛，看到他們眾多獨特又好評的火鍋湯頭，非常有興趣嘗試。我們沒有任何交通工具於是從旅館走了約莫快20分鐘才抵達，誰知卻是遇到大門深鎖，撲了個空! 後天，搭計程車回到住宿附近時請司機開至食驛碰碰運氣，沒想到還是沒開門，開始猜想該不會已經結束營業之類的XD 直到隔天，去之前打電話確認，終於有營業而且有位子，寒冷的天氣裡聽到這大好消息立馬驅車前去。 還不到晚上六點，一進門座位已經快坐滿了，看來都是等了幾天迫不及待的顧客。內部空間挑高寬敞、簡單的陳設中卻透露著一點低調的設計感，是一個令人感覺很舒適的用餐空間。看了菜單後循老闆推薦點了紅酒番茄鍋，家人另外點了泡菜鍋。兩鍋的湯頭都非常的濃郁，番茄紅酒鍋的酒味不會太重，番茄味非常濃郁，不像以往吃過的番茄鍋只有淡淡的酸味，他們的湯底吃得出有特別熬製的高湯，加上濃郁的番茄味(推測也有加番茄糊?)，令人一口接一口停不下來!泡菜鍋雖然是市面較常見的口味，但可能是因為他們獨特的高湯底，一入口也明顯嚐得出不同，一樣是令人停不下來的好味道，在這寒冷的天氣裡格外過癮! 他們的菜盤也很有特色，基本款就有花枝片和魚片，青菜的部分不像一般火鍋店以耐放的高麗菜為主，他們除了高麗菜，也使用好幾種綠色蔬菜。最近剛好是茼蒿的季節，菜盤裡就有好多的茼蒿，開心！女老闆說都是視當天取得的新鮮清菜來供應，讓大家吃到新鮮又多樣化的蔬菜。然而因為綠色蔬菜較不耐放，因此餐點都是限量供應，而且客人也可以悠閒地享用食物，不會有第二輪客人要進場、需要趕時間的壓力!實際吃過覺得他們食材像是紅蘿蔔或南瓜吃起來也有比一般外面更好吃喔。店家還會附上自製的飲料，當天喝到的是二葉松酵素飲，微酸的清爽口感，感覺蠻養生的，也很特別。此外也別忘了喝一下他們附的水，看起來只是一般開水但其實是香香的水蜜桃純露！這些小地方都可以感受店家的用心。 肉的部分對於嗜肉者份量是偏少的，不過想多吃的話也可以加點，所以整體而言還是覺得很不錯。男老闆說過去幾天沒開店是因為大老闆身體不舒服，幸好我們沒有因此而錯過這間特別的好店! 隔天要回家前，我們又來吃了中餐，這次又嘗試了咖哩鍋，一樣是美味到可以把湯頭喝光光!下次若再回花蓮，絕對也是會再訪的。 (有在粉絲團看到他們的麻辣湯底是手炒的，這次雖然忍痛PASS，下次絕對要回來嘗試的啦!)
