Arrived at Hualien past 9pm, and not many restaurants are open so we decided to give this a try. The food was actually great, served pretty fast. This is one good option for proper late dinner. The restaurant doesn’t use aircon, it’s an open space with lots of fans.
I would recommend ordering the fried rice and roast pork. Roast pork was flavourful and fragrant, also comes with lemon chili dipping sauce. This was like their specialty sauce, used in many dishes. The sauce was very aromatic although some may find it a bit too spicy. Grilled squid and steamed lemon fish use the same sauce too, so I think its better to choose only one or two dishes.
The tomyum soup was also good, it had lots of seafood inside, but I personally think they put too much tomatoes. The grilled chicken wings were very salty though...

I take serious offence by the quality of food dished out here. Everything ordered was very much a poor man’s representation of the Thai cuisine. I wish the Thai aspect of this restaurant would be omitted in time to better represent the overall restaurant. Don’t get me wrong - whilst food were just alright, it certainly doesn’t do the Thai cuisine justice.
