七美老三海產 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

We walked in here around 9:30pm for dinner. The restaurant was empty, but the staff were excited to see us walk in. I learned that in this restaurant you pick the your items from the inventory and they cook it for you. The lady in front showed us all the items that had in stock including fishes, chicken, meat and seafood items. We picked the three cup chicken, squid fish balls, shrimp egg fried rice and couple of steamed fish.

After our order we headed to second floor where they had the dining area. Another lady on that floor helped us with getting the utensils, plates/bowls and water. She was very curious and had a prolonged conversation with us. Our food started to show up within few minutes. All the items smelled and tasted so good. Fish ball were perfectly fried. Three cup chicken was little watery but the chicken was well cooked. Fried rice was delicious. Steamed fish was perfect.

I was amazed how small local restaurants like these can deliver such high quality flavorful dishes, whereas some of the more fancy ones totally...

Incredibly tasty and fresh seafood with reasonable price. The chef is very good at keeping the sweet and fresh taste of seafood itself. This will definitely be a must have in Kaohsiung for me.
