食憇時代蛋餅 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

LOVE IT. 蛋饼 was so chewy and so flavourful, the crisp edges was AMAZING. definitely add cheese (yes, processed square cheddar but still good). 薯饼 was a piece of hashbrown on top, wasn't expecting that. skip if you're thinking of a rosti-ish potato. the burger with 烧肉 was a seasoned piece of pork, served with a runny yolk sunny side up and crunchy cucumbers. the bun was so soft and warmly toasted. i think they had a light spread of sweet salad cream with a dollop of thai chilli? did not overwhelm the dish with sauces, appreciated that. this was AMAZING AGAIN. sandwich was meh, can skip. tea was sweet, i will skip this. the store on the other side of the alley had nice noodle dishes, should try! overall, just for the 蛋饼 that is from handmade batter, they deserve 10000000000 stars. The pancake is really oily but the texture of the pancake itself was chewy and the taste was okay so that, I’d still give three stars even though it was super duper oily. But the daikon/ radish cake on the other hand... wasn’t even edible. It’s like a blob of uncooked dough with salty favours.... worst I’ve had for radish...

very sweet and kind ladies. got the original egg dan bing and the portion was generous portion a small eater who usually doesn’t have breakfast, slightly oily but yummy nonetheless! the milk tea tasted homely. great...
