Pier No.1 高空酒吧 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Rooftop bars are my thing and this one had views for days. It's an absolutely stunning overview of Kaohsiung. The city of Kaohsiung is like no other. It is so beautiful at night and this place is the best place to be when the sun goes down. It has a vibrant and laid back feel to it. There were opportunities for games in one corner. Later everyone played bingo in their tables. It was all in Chinese but thankfully some members in our group spoke the language. There were about 3/4 chances to win something. off course our table didn't win anything but it was fun nonetheless. The drinks were really nice but weak. I got a mojito and it just tasted of juice but they were nice enough to top it up with more rum when I asked. It was stronger after that. The staff here are really nice and attentive. I liked the vibe. Only downside was that it was a bit too cold haha but as long as you wrap up it's manageable. I'm sure it crazy hot in the summer. I must come back...

Our visit to the rooftop bar at Pier No. 1 was nothing short of amazing. The view from up there is truly breathtaking, making it a perfect spot for a special evening out. The food served was not only fantastic in taste but also beautifully presented.

One thing to note is that during the summer, it can get a little hot up there when there's no breeze, so be prepared for that. However, the attentive staff, who speak good English, are quick to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

While enjoying the ambiance, we were also entertained by a live band. The only downside was that their performance ended quite early at 10pm. Overall, a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable night with great views and...

Great service. fun and yummy drinks w local touch to it. The fried chicken was a bit too salty. Go before the sky gets dark to see the city view and dusk, beautiful. The outdoor sitting was alright. (They have bug spray for those who need it.)

The music and what's projected on the screen was on repeat... A bit boring... Do recommend something to be done about it... There's no fan or any air circulation, so after having some alcohol, it could be very unbearable without breeze. Hope something can be...
