Went there after reading some positive reviews and found it over hyped. The taste was just average and even below average for some dishes. I judge mainly based on the taste. And I'm disappointed. I expected better.

PS: The owner's reply to my review makes things worse. If someone gives this restaurant a negative review, the owner responds that other restaurants would have given the customer free food or discounts. That shows how much he respects the customers geuine opinions

I didn't make any complaints about waiting or anything. I've dined at about 50 Indian restaurants outside India and it's not new for me to wait for my turn. I also get suggestions from different owners on their menu. In fact, he had said that his 'Golgappas (paani Puri)' is the best ever. But it came with a very little spicy water and the taste was so weak. His Paalak Paneer was bad too. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I feel it’s necessary here. Given the very high rating of this place, we had high hopes but left feeling very disappointed. We had Goan fish curry and lamb Rogan Josh for main, both sauces were very bland and had no subtlety or depth of flavor to them. The fish curry was basically just coconut milk and hardly any other flavor. I’ve had supermarket curry sauce better than this. The pilau rice was greasy and just the wrong texture. The naan was just ok. I could be wrong but I think The chicken Hariyali tikka starter used thigh rather than breast meat (as another reviewer has also mentioned) - really not the same thing. Amazing authentic Indian cuisine. They serve different types of Indian curry, special chicken dishes. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly. They take credit card which is very convenient. Both done in and take out service are provided. The mango yogurt was amazing. The yellow curry with chicken was tasty. Lamb with green curry was little spicy but tastes amazing .
