MoJava餐酒館 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

I wouldn’t call this an Italian restaurant. More like a fusion of many different cuisines.

The dishes were a hit or miss. The fried foods were good - fries, onion rings. Quesadillas, chicken wings, salad, chicken satay were good.

Burgers and seafood pizza weren’t terrible, nor the best, but I wouldn’t order it again. Bacon spaghetti was watery, seafood risotto was bland.

However, the issue I had was that we came with a group of 8 and the food came out WAY TOO SLOW. they brought out the small dishes in their set menu, one by one, for a group of 8 people! We waited TWO HOURS (got there and ordered at 6pm) and they STILL didn’t have the last three dishes ready by 8pm - we had them packed up and came back to pick them up bc some in our group had an appointment to make at 8:30.

I understand that the food is made fresh, but they need a bigger kitchen staff if they want to accommodate big orders.

Perhaps going alone or with just one other person would be...

I had the opportunity to try a wide selection of dishes, each of which was worse than the last. Claiming to be an Italian restaurant, the food here is an absolute disgrace to Italian cuisine, and served as a painful reminder about how disgusting western food can be in Taiwan. Many of the dishes were downright nauseating, and leaves me concerned for my stomach’s well being. Almost no part of the meal was even acceptable, and it is truly saying something when the highlights are the salad and the water, two items that are extremely hard to mess up. After each dish, this restaurant leaves you dreading the new and creative ways the next dish can be ruined. 餐點好吃 期待很高，但也很失望 這家餐廳是朋友推薦過的，去吃前刷過網路上評論也幾乎一致好評，評論內也有其他顧客表示出菜速度很快等對我很有用的資訊，就決定去用餐

用餐日期是111/12/18（日）晚餐 約16:38打電話問晚上五點半是否還可訂位，店家建議六點，因為其他訂位都在五點半，怕我們等待時間會比較久 我問「所以五點半其實是有空位，只是怕一起點餐所以餐點出餐會比較久嗎？」 店家「對」 我又問「那我如果可以現在先電話點餐可以嗎？到了可以直接準備餐點」 店家回覆等待時間還是會跟現場點差不多

只好作罷，訂了六點4大1小

17:47分到店，店裡原本就有兩桌客人，加我們這桌總共三桌 17:50入座我就說可以直接點餐了～ 18:00完成點餐（包含後來加點的一個燉飯） 點餐內容包含三樣前菜、一個生菜沙拉、四個主食 前菜出很快，例湯麵包跟雞翅等都很ok 接著出了墨西哥雞肉煎餅也都很好吃 大約到18:45出了兩盤義大利麵 然後就一路到19:15都還沒看到披薩跟燉飯

約19:06第一次詢問其他兩個主餐還沒好？ 店家回覆「餐點現點現做本來就要等喔！而且其他桌也還在等，不是只有你們這桌在等」

約19:15詢問因為等待太久了，是不是剩下兩個主餐先取消，我們要離開了 店家回覆「因為都已經煮了，沒辦法取消喔」 我問「那還要多久？」 店家「大概都還要十幾分」「主餐準備都要20分鐘（義大利麵、燉飯、披薩）」

19:20太餓了所以先結帳離開，剩下未出的餐點改成外帶晚點回來拿 19:50回來拿外帶，店家有特別說明「不知道我們吃飯那麼趕時間、義大利麵其實有幫我們插單先做、加點的燉飯單子被往後排了（可能因為不是一起點）」 當下稍微分享自己的看法， 推算這家店的當天只有一位內場製作餐點 點餐的時候，其實對於店家來說，已知目前兩桌客人，應該能推理目前主餐等待時間，就算不確定也可以跟內場確認 所以應該能跟後來來的客人稍微說明目前主餐等待時間是多久， 如果點餐就知道「有可能主餐要等一個多小時」，其實我們就會先評估是否要等待或者取消換別間餐廳（讓客人自己選擇要不要等這麼久，應該跟不知道的狀態下等了那麼久，感受是差很多的） 離開的時候（19:20）其實披薩燉飯還是還沒完成的狀態，對於還沒吃到主餐的人來說，其實前菜吃完超過半小時事都沒東西吃的狀態（前菜大約18:40就吃完了） 而點義大利麵的人其實19:00就吃得差不多了，大家真的坐著只能等待，有的人吃飽了，有的人還很餓⋯⋯ 不敢想像...
