ONE.Bar — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

In LOVE with this spot. Huge selection of unique, carefully sourced liquors, particularly gins and whiskeys, which are crafted into bespoke cocktails based on your taste preferences. Great, relaxed ambience, too.

I first taste tested ~7 different incredible gins, each described lovingly by our waitress, before picking Four Pillars bloody shiraz gin and asking for a drink with sour notes. From that, the bartender spun me this creamy, tart, floral, aesthetically gorgeous wonder. Incredibly clean and crisp flavors from start to finish. I then asked for something with a taste of ginger, and got a fresh, light, aniseed-tinged, foam-topped treat, based just on that.

Entering a small alley between 2 buildings reaching a spiral stair. Climbing up to the top, you reach a nostalgic bar with limited seats for a exclusive 18. Bartender is very kind. If you don't see a cocktail that you like on the menu, bartender will try to figure out what that you like as you describe your preferences.

First time visiting a bar in Kaohsiung. It was an AMAZING experience @ONE.bar, the bartender was very friendly and attentive; the cocktails were pretty good and creative; the food was good and not too pricey. The place has got a retro vibe and a comfortable atmosphere. It is obvious that the owner has put in lots of effort in this small bar. Definitely a place that MUST to be visited in Kaoshiung.
