Shuang Fei Milk Tea — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

This is the one place I miss the most! Their milk tea is absolutely amazing—5 stars without question. The pearls are usually soft and perfectly infused with brown sugar, making every sip a delight. I loved it so much that I drank it almost every day while I was there.

However, there was one morning around 9:15 AM when the pearls, while still soft, had no brown sugar flavor at all. That was a bit disappointing, as they could have informed us that the pearls weren’t ready instead of serving them.

Still, this is easily one of the best milk tea spots, and I’ll definitely be back for...

I was living quite a while at north of TW, so less sugar is my preferrence, thus i go with 長春奶茶 (long spring milk te) which is less sugar, 30% (微糖). I found out that's perfectly worked out for me. To my taste, this is type of Pu-Er tea (普洱茶) they used though, which is kind of unique.

I ordered the bubble tea. The drink itself is okay, but I failed to use me own container. The staff insisted to use their disposable cup first and then pour to my cup, which is silly and not environmental friendly. They make excuses such as they want to make sure they put the right proportion and the milk is not good for moving around...
