TAGL Porchetteria — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

This store is all about patience .. if you want something special, one has to wait .. the process of making perfect food is painstaking. So be kind to those that make it happen for you. If you don't understand the art of cooking and of service, just try and make it yourself and suffer greatly with each passing failure .

These two know exactly what they're doing and they have their system, which may not be your system.

As my father always said : "don't try and change the system, you'll lose... every time"

After I placed my order, she told me it'll be about 10 minutes and do I have time to wait, which I did not because I had to go open my business as well I had a hungry little six-year-old with me. I told them I would be back one day and to hold on to my money. She graciously stated that she would be glad to drop it off for me after they close for the evening..

When they arrive tonight, we will celebrate together one of the most glorious and perfect sandwich. 500 stars for that alone..

Don't believe the negative reviews.. most people are like dogs; if you are nasty and mean, they will growl and bark..

These guys are cute and cuddly cats and if you make them purr, they will be yours forever.

I came with my friends to kaoshiung and it was my very first time in the city. next to our airbnb was this lovely and cute porchetta shop and I love porchetta! I feel its hard to find porchetta outside of italy, so I was very surprised that kaohsiung has a shop for porchetta! me and my friends couldnt resist and gave it a try. it was soo delicious! the staff was very very friendly and we had a nice talk with them. the porchetta sandwich itself is so amazing. I came the next day and had another one before I left kaoshiung....

Amazing porchetta sandwich, I rarely like those roasted pork kinda thing, but this is exceptional. I can finish the whole thing with joy! Taste is just perfect, not too salty, just the right amount. The pork skin is crispy, every piece of meat is nice and nothing unpleasant. Both ciabatta and focaccia are excellent. This is indeed a pleasant surprise being a foodie in Taiwan. Not often we can find such a good...
