阿蓮河粉 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Personal comment : I couldn't recommend this place more than this. What a pity if I didn't know this place. I can eat all of my breakfast, lunch and dinner at this restaurant straight for a week. When I finally left Kaohsiung, it was the sadest thing I had to get away from this cozy restaurant.

Review : The far best place to eat Vietnamese cuisine in KH maybe in whole Taiwan. Vietnamese beef rice noodles(Phở Bò), fried spring rolls(chả giò) and Vietnamese shrimp pork pancakes(Bản Xéo) were the best quality and taste I have eaten outside of Vietnam.

Plus, prices are very reasonable, only 2 to 3 US$ for each. It's almost same as the same food in local restaurant in Ha Noi. So...

Very traditional Vietnamese cuisine, food is almost identical as you can find if you go Vietnam. Great food. But, please care about hygiene. I had metallic dish wash brush pieces inside my spring roll. Absolutely disgusting and disappointment. I had vomited many times and i still can't get it out the metallic piece from my throat. 道地越南美食，可是吃到洗碗鐵刷. 吐了好幾次，且吐不出。有夠噁心。拜託請關心衛生。Authentic ăn Việt, nhưng ăn món ăn bàn chải sắt. Spit nhiều lần. Và nhổ. Buồn nôn đủ. Hãy Hãy chú ý...

So far it’s my fav Vietnamese spot. Had beef pho, spicy seafood noodle soup, Vietnamese pork roll, fresh spring roll, papaya salad and the fried chicken salad. All the dishes I had was fresh and nice but the pho broth needs more spices and condiments as it’s not very flavorful enough like the authentic pho broth.
