This is a traditional tea house. The couple that runs this is extremely kind and quick to service. If it wasn’t for the kind hospitality this review would be a tad lower due to the quality of food. I ordered the Creamy Mushroom Chicken which is 1/3 options for Main Dish on the menu. While I was seated near the kitchen I noticed him pour the mixture of the chicken, sauce, potatoes, and carrots out of what appeared to be a plastic bag from the microwave. The taste was a bit bland and could use quite a bit more salt. However, the chicken was tender. The dish was accompanied by a side traditional broth soup containing chicken shreds, tofu and seaweed which was tasty. As well as a mound of rice and a fresh fruit salad. I enjoyed the salad, but I believe they could have cut the rind off the Pineapple half slice. I ended up eating around the rind while pairing with the grapes, kiwi, lettuce and dressing. Tasted nice but there is room for improvement. The tea was your average Taiwanese black tea, but it tasted nice on a cold rainy day. The owner was kind to ask if I wanted more hot water. Overall, I would come back here for tea.

I recently visited this charming Taiwanese tea house, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere is serene and inviting, with a cozy interior that makes you feel right at home. I enjoyed a properly brewed oolong tea paired with dried star fruit, which complemented the tea perfectly. The owner, who is also the sole staff member, provided exceptional service. Their professionalism and passion for tea really shone through as they guided me through the proper way to drink and appreciate each cup. It’s clear that they take pride in their craft! If you’re looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy high-quality tea and learn about the tea-drinking experience, I highly recommend this tea house! It’s truly a gem.

CENTURY OLD HOUSE When we walked past we just wanted ice cream because it's so hot outside. When we came in, we were so surprised to see how beautiful the house is. There's little rooms in the upper levels that's just gorgeous. They put very careful details around the house and it feels so homey. We just ate one ice cream and a glass of tea but we spent a long time here because of how comfy it is. Definitely one of the hidden gems due to how people often miss it for being a normal ice cream place..

This place is great. The menus is not huge but it is very, very tasty. We got 2 different stews (beef stew And a chicken mushroom stew) that was perfect for a cold rainy day. Their fried platter was great (onion rings, french fries, and chicken tenders) was great quality and a perfect meal for my 3 and 5 year olds. The kids also got the waffles (that are served all day). The ambiance is nice, quaint, like having dinner in the dining room of the owners. Stone walls, wooden tables and great food and just the smallest post of what makes this place great. The cook and the lady taking the order and serving the food were very hospitable and welcoming. They might be the owners, I'm not sure. They were very, very accommodating to the chaos called my family (2 parents, 2 kids, 2 grand parents).

In fact, dinner was so great, we returned the next...
