Tamsui Tengfeng — Restaurant in New Taipei

It's a clean neat modern cafe area that serves beer and seafood chips. The fishballs were definitely tasty along with the soup. Seafood chips samples of 4 flavors were at the front for tourists to try but to be honest, they didn't taste like "oh I must travel across the sea to this eatery and try some!" quality.

There's 3 floors, 1st two being eating areas and the 3rd being where the washroom is located (very cramped).

When our group went there, it was pretty dead. (Perhaps 5 people for an area that can easily seat hundreds).

Staff wasn't the typical taiwanese 'friendly' vibe, but she was definitely very good on upselling snacks and...

The fish was crispy and light, tasty and plentiful. The mushy peas were on the light side but tasty, as was the tartare source. The chips are not British style chips, they are American style chips with seasoning on them - tasty but not British. The chocolate brownie came with cream and ice cream. It was tasty but nothing amazing. The earl gray tea was original. The interior of the shop is very nice and generally a great place to grab food.
