香草街屋 — Local services in New Taipei

「香草街屋」是位於淡水重建街門牌號碼為14號 的古老建築，建造年份位於日治時期1930年，由於重建街受限於頂崙丘陵，地勢變化頗大，因此將室內三個部分別建造，形成節節高升的建築景象，具有建築意義與歷史價值。這裡是2008年現象級影劇《闘茶》的拍攝場地，是臺日電影合作的黑色喜劇，在文化交流與成品展示上意義重大。目前是新北市市定古蹟，屋主蔡以倫後來將其整修，作為香草種植與教學的功用，是地方創生十分成功的案例！

"Vanilla Street House" is located at No. 14, Chongxin Street, Tamsui.The old building was built in 1930 during the Japanese occupation. As the reconstruction of the street was limited by the Dinglun Hills and the terrain changed greatly, the three interior parts were built separately, forming a rising building scene, which has architectural significance and historical value. This is the filming location of the 2008 phenomenal drama "Cha Cha", a black comedy co-production between Taiwan and Japan, which is of great significance in cultural exchange and display of finished products. Very nice place. It's an old building which is now a shop opens usually weekends. Other days the boss goes to manage the herbs planting.
