Bought the Bone-In Pork Chop Rice and Deluxe Braised Beef Noodles with homemade noodles. Both dishes gave a very generous portion of rice and noodles that really makes one full. The Pork Chop Rice was delicious and had a very nice salty sauce drizzled over and a portion of preserved vegetables that do not overpower the dish. The pork chop was succulent and savoury. The Beef Noodles were definitely one of the best I've had in my life. As an asian myself, I tend to like having mala soup for meals - it gives of a warm feeling in my chest while being savoury and spicy, and spreads its aroma of peppers and chilli on my tastebuds. This Beef Noodles' soup gave the exact same feeling, except much less spicy! The beef was extremely tender and soft, ripping and pulling apart extremely easily and just melted in my mouth with just the right amount of fat. I'll be thinking about these noodles when I get back to my home country. Definitely coming back to get these noodles when I come back to Taipei...

The manager said it was just beef tripes that hadn’t been properly cooked. Today the place is thriving and enjoying then patronage...

Menu looked good that pretends to sell assorted Taiwanese staple with great qualities and service but in essence it doesn’t. Required 3 squeezed into 2 seats regardless only half seats taken in whole floor. The taste of “fresh veggie noodles” was plain as what it meant literally: cucumber, bean curd and noodles. The grade of rice and noodles they used indicated on menu can not proof them capable of doing great. In similar dinning culture like Japan, any food provider would never mention in that way. Japanese people do as what customers...
