“We visited this restaurant on a Friday night. It wasn’t very busy, with about half the tables occupied.
I came here with no expectations at all since I had no idea where else to go. When I searched for omakase in Taipei, I realized I’d already tried most of the places. This was one of the few remaining options for me.
To my surprise, it exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, and the restaurant looked even nicer in person than in the pictures.
The service was excellent. The staff and chef were attentive, always keeping an eye on your needs. If your side dish or glass looked empty, they refilled it immediately. They also cleaned the table frequently and replaced wet towels, which really impressed me.
However, there were a few aspects of the atmosphere that felt a bit awkward. The chef and staff maintained poker faces the entire time, which made them seem less friendly, but their service was still impeccable.
One unexpected detail was the music. At one point, hip-hop music started playing, which caught me off guard—I didn’t expect an omakase restaurant to have that kind of vibe.
