If I had to describe the experience of eating at this late night snack shop by using only two words, they would be: "anxiety" and "inducing". You shall not enjoy your meal. You will rather order a delicious portion of braised 控肉, 雞魯飯, and 鳳目魚 soup. You will eat in silence while the rest of the world around you falls apart. A cat occasionally runs at blazing speed through the tables, scared out of its life. Everywhere you are surrounded by the screams of the waiters and cooks who are trying to serve the infinite queue of customers in the best and fastest way possible. When you pay, you shall think fast, and reply fast and in mandarin to the owner's demands. But everything is cheap and it tastes amazing. And this place remains open until 1 AM which is just unbelievable at this point for this area of Taipei. While the rest of the world falls, you shall close your eyes, make silence into yourself, and savour that delicious braised pork meat until the end...
