Burger Joint — Restaurant in Taichung

FOOD: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The quality of the food was Excellent! The Macaroni & Chili and Milkshakes here are a must try! You won't go wrong! We had the Peanut butter with Chocolate Milkshake and tasted magic!

SERVICE: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service staff was very attentive and helpful all the way! The meal that we ordered came promptly. Only thing that we felt was a little off was that our milkshake didn't come till the end of our meal, but that might be the custom in the restaurant so I would suggest if you want your milkshake with your fine burger, tell the waiters there that you would like to have your drink served with your meal.

CLEANLINESS: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The decorations of the restaurant is very western and youthful. The tables are a little cramped up with little to no moving (personal) space between you and the next customer. The restaurant is clean and the waiters do a fantastic job at clearing a table and sanitizing it down in no time.

PRICE: ⭐⭐⭐ I think price was a little steep but to find a western burger and milkshake place all under one roof, I was happy to pay a little extra. There is also a 10% tip that is automatically added to your meal.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Make a reservation before you go there, especially during peak times. The restaurant gets pretty packed. I would also suggest while you making the reservation to ask them to put you at a table that is not joint with other customers, it kinda gets weird. ORDER THE MILKSHAKE!

Would I visit this restaurant again? 100% yes!...

The service and timing of food was great but the one star's for the food. If you're looking for an American burger this isn't the place. I ordered a bacon mushroom cheeseburger and didn't enjoy any part of the burger. First, the bread was toasted. I wouldn't mind if it was toasted but every bite the bread was stabbing at the top of my mouth. This made the entire burger unenjoyable. The bacon didn't seem to have taste. The mushroom soup was way too salty. We ordered the buffalo wings as well which weren't that bad. Wish they came with blue cheese instead of ceasar dressing. And finally the milk shake. Oh how I miss a good milkshake. Ordered the vanilla milkshake but it tasted off. Wondering if they used French vanilla ice cream instead of original vanilla. I guess I was too upset after being stabbed throughout my meal to enjoy...

I was in the mood for a burger, so I stopped by the Burger Joint.

I ordered an upgrade combo, which included a salad and a drink to go with the Golden Onion and Bacon Burger.

The salad was not tasty. The dressing was a mostly mayonnaise base lacking flavor, though it should have been a Caesar dressing.

I ordered two drinks: (Iced) Yuzu honey tea and (Iced) black tea. See pics.

The Yuzu tea had an artificial taste and flavor. The drink I was served was only filled in the glass to about 80% while the other drink the black tea was full.
