Muni Brunch — Restaurant in Taichung

Waited very long to order (I went to the counter to order and got told someone would come to the table. Went back to the table and waited, 2 groups that were seated after us had their orders taken, and we were ignored. Eventually we managed to get the attention of someone from the kitchen staff to order). Ordered paninis and tea. Thought we would get the "combo" set with salad and fries etc as we were told we couldn't have the coffees as it wasn't in this deal. Service was really slow and when the paninis arrived, there was nothing but 2 very bad looking paninis on one plate (no salad, no fries, nothing). Everyone else in the restaurant had lovely looking meals with salads and fries etc, so we assume there was a language issue or the staff were ignoring us because they were frightened to speak to foreigners (although we've never had this happen before in any other restaurant and we've been in Taiwan for 3 months). 2 stars because it was cheap (because we didn't get charged for the combo set). There is an English menu but recommend that you are really explicit about what you want and are really proactive at getting the staff to take your order. Would not recommend this place, there are other friendlier places with nicer food,...

Visited this place because it's near to holiday inn express. Portion is quite small. Toast machine was down therefore didn't get to try their panini. Roasted chicken waiting time was 20mins. So this is not my top choice but...
