Roundabout Café — Restaurant in Taichung

This restaurant and concept has been around the Taichung food scene for over 8 years now, and they just opened another location in a beautifully remodeled and decorated house, so of course I had to check it out and I was not disappointed.

The dishes, ingredients, and presentation are wonderfully simple yet sophisticated and of very high quality, the organic eggs are perfectly cooked, their homemade ham is absolutely heavenly, the chicken breast is flavorful and healthful, the side dishes are fun and delicious, and the salad dressing is refreshing and clean.

A big plus, especially for the younger customers with a limited budget, is that they serve a free glass of delicious black tea and don't charge a service charge which keeps most meals between $300 and $400, including everything, and their food is at a level similar to the best brunch places...

I arranged to meet my friend here for brunch and luckily they had plenty of seating available when I arrived. I didn’t reserve a table or anything. I was seated upstairs in a nice bright room. You have to order and pay and I really wanted a latte as my friend was running late. I ordered my iced latte ($130) and then sat back to look through the menu for food. I went back down to order the pan fried chicken breast savoury pancake deal ($340). The latte was perfection, just the way I like it. The meal was delicious. I almost ate every bite. Sizable, affordable, brunch, and coffee shop. It's located the corner street and blue painting outside easier to observe. There are diverse of menu you could choice, toast, roast meat and pancake etc. coffee, team, soda could be accomply with. Side dish with salad, soup and potato, sweet potato fries.
