Chocolate lava cake $120 NTD Iced Brown sugar latte $160 NTD

The cake was delicious, and it delivers on its promise of being a chocolate cake. The same can be said about the iced latte. However, nothing I ordered really stood out to me.

I enjoyed my experience at a Room! If I had to describe the environment in one word, I’d pick “quiet” 🤫

I arrived to meet a friend on a Saturday afternoon at 3:15pm and waited about 10-15 minutes before being seated indoors. Since we hadn’t seen each other in a bit, we came to a Room with the intent of chatting. However, upon entering, we both felt that since the majority of the patrons in the cafe were studying or reading, we opted to move to outdoor seating as to not disturb.

Kind owners and expert coffee baristas. As a NON-coffee connoisseur, it’s obvious to me that the baristas at a Room are well versed in coffee craft.

Originally, I wanted a flat white, but they warned me that it was only 170ml, so I decided against it since I wanted a larger drink. I’m glad they informed me instead of taking my money.

As many others have mentioned, parking is not convenient since there’s not much of it.

It’s my first time visiting this café to get some work done. My first impression was that it feels a bit like stepping into “Grandma’s house.” Tucked away in a corner, the place has a hidden charm. 🍃

There are both indoor and outdoor seating options. The outdoor area seems perfect for nice weather. 🌲

The staff are very friendly and speak English as well, so ordering and chatting with them was easy. They even helped me find a seat. 🥰🫶🏻

Although the space isn’t very large and gets a bit crowded, it still feels cozy and welcoming. The overall atmosphere is very comforting.

As for the menu, the drinks and cakes are delicious. I tried a Flat White and a Brown Sugar Latte—both were great. The lava cake was rich with good chocolate flavor, and the kouign-amann was a delightful mix of sweet, savory, and a touch of spice. Truly satisfying! 🧁☕️

I definitely enjoyed my time here, and I’ll be coming back again. 💫

One of my favourite coffee shops.

An oasis of solitude and tranquility in the middle of a bustling and noisy town. I often go here to drink coffee and read a book for a few hours. The service is great, the environment is peaceful, and there's a established culture of quietness among the guests that frequent the shop.

Aside from the coffee, there is also a great selection of other drinks from which to choose: in particular, their powdered-green-tea-based drinks (抹茶) are excellent. At night time, there's also a good variety of local and imported beers. If you're hungry, the dumplings are a perfect choice, and to top things off, the home-made cheesecakes are very tasty. :)

The shop has a well-stocked miniature library full of interesting books, and regularly shows films in the evening on their projector screen. This is definitely a place where you can go to relax and forget about your stress for an hour or two.
