I went in as I saw a lunch special for curry and rice only, which is a good amount of food for me to have. However,I went in today and the server said that was an old menu on the wall and I couldn't have that rice and curry special. He told me I had to order from the menu. Since I was starving from driving an hour to go there, I decided to get the curry special from the menu. It was about 80nt more than what was on the wall and it came with two things I didn't want, the Naan bread and a coke. So I shoved the coke in my bag as I don't drink that and the naan bread was not impressive. My entire lunch was mediocre at best and would only be valued at the end 125nt listed on the menu on the wall. Here's an idea, cover up the old prices on the wall so you don't have to explain to the customers the difference. The place was not busy at all. I should have eaten at the Indian restaurant just next door to it. And the flavor of cloves was nice in the rice, but you should remove the cloves(before serving to the guests).as the cloves are hard to chew and someone could choke if they are not aware they are in there. I'm familiar with them,so it wasn't a problem to recognize them and move them aside. Maybe...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Dhaba by MIK, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish!
Food: If you’re a fan of authentic Indian street food, this place is a must-visit. The Pav Bhaji was out of this world – rich, flavorful, and the perfect balance of spices. The pav was soft and buttery, complementing the bhaji beautifully. But the real star was the Sambar Dosa. The dosa itself was perfectly crisp, light, and airy, but the sambar – wow! It was hands down the best sambar I’ve ever had: tangy, aromatic, and with just the right amount of spice. The chutneys that came alongside were fresh and added the perfect finishing touch. Every bite was a burst of flavor.
Service: The service was warm and welcoming. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Our server was quick to recommend dishes and was happy to answer any questions about the menu. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place for both a casual meal or a special outing.
Overall, Dhaba by MIK delivered exceptional food with impeccable service. I’ll definitely be returning for that amazing sambar dosa and pav bhaji! Highly...

I recently visited this restaurant, and I have to say it was the worst Indian food I have ever had in Taipei. The dishes on the menu looked appealing with fancy images, but the reality was completely different. Unfortunately, the quality did not match the expectations set by the pictures. I wouldn’t recommend dining here if you are looking for genuine Indian cuisine. The 發票looks familiar? Isn’t it? I am sure you know your restaurants address. Don’t you? Mr. 馬友友?
I left a review for your restaurant, and you being the owner responded by accusing me of being from the competition next door. For the record, I am not affiliated with any restaurant. Honestly, you're not even close to their level—in terms of quality, authenticity, or hospitality. There's no comparison between your restaurant and the one next door. Instead of making excuses, you should focus on improving...
