BOE歐點歐式餐酒館Bits of Eur — Restaurant in Taipei

As an American, from the birthplace of the hamburger, to tell you to buy a burger from a place in Taipei called "Bits of Europe" feels a "bit" incongruous, but that's what I'm doing. We saw the pictures of the burger here and thought they looked pretty good, so we gave them a try. The burgers were even better than the pictures! You CAN ask for a medium rare cook on your burger here and they will nail it! (As with many restaurants, they will express a little hesitation to cook it less than medium and give some disclaimers.) I think they express the cook on beef here in terms of a percentage. I think 50% is medium, so medium rare is 30% or something. In the end they gave us a really tasty -- and a bit bloody -- cook on our burgers at 30%. We got the classic cheeseburger and the BBQ burger and both were quite filling. Their fries were good as well. We arrived quite late and they were nice to provide us with some pasta even though kitchen was officially closed since 10 minutes (closes at 9). Both our spaghetti dishes weren't really good unfortunately, tasting like nearly nothing and spaghetti were still way to hard. Compared to traditional Italian cuisine, it wasn't tasty at all. Two stars because our other friends who arrived earlier where more content with their food though. Prices extremely high for the quality of the food, pizza really small. We definitely won't go...
