I recently had the pleasure of visiting Maji Square in Taipei, and it was an experience worth sharing.

The ambiance at Maji Square is truly unique and eclectic. The space blends modern design with a touch of artistic flair, creating an inviting and vibrant atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is particularly charming, with twinkling fairy lights and a variety of seating options that range from cozy nooks to open communal tables. Inside, the decor is trendy and stylish, with colorful murals and creative installations that add to the overall lively vibe.

The crowd at Maji Square is diverse and energetic. It attracts a mix of locals and tourists, all coming together to enjoy the lively atmosphere. Whether you're there for a casual meet-up with friends or looking to make new ones, the friendly and sociable crowd makes it easy to strike up conversations. The place tends to get busier as the night progresses, especially on weekends, adding to the dynamic and bustling energy.

When it comes to the price of drinks, Maji Square offers a range that caters to different budgets. You can find affordable options that won't break the bank, as well as more premium choices if you're looking to splurge a little. On average, you can expect to pay around NT$200 to NT$400 for a drink, depending on your selection. The quality of the drinks is excellent, with a variety of creative cocktails, craft beers, and other beverages to choose from.

The music at Maji Square is another highlight. The playlist is carefully curated to complement the vibrant atmosphere, featuring a mix of upbeat tunes that keep the energy high. Whether it's live performances by local artists or a well-chosen DJ set, the music adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. It's lively enough to get you in the mood to dance, yet not so loud that it drowns out conversation.

Overall, Maji Square in Taipei is a fantastic spot to unwind and soak in the local culture. The unique ambiance, friendly crowd, reasonably priced drinks, and great music make it a must-visit for anyone looking to have a memorable night out in Taipei. Highly...

If you are looking for a fun and vibrant nightlife scene, Maji Square is a great place to go. There are a number of bars and clubs to choose from, each with its own unique atmosphere. Here are a few of the most popular spots: Triangle: This is a small but lively club that is popular with both locals and foreigners. They have different theme nights throughout the week, so you can always find something new to enjoy. 23 Music Room: This is a more upscale bar with a great selection of live music. They also have a nice outdoor seating area where you can relax and enjoy the evening. Crafted - Beer & Co.: This is a great place to go if you are looking for a wide selection of craft beers. They also have a good food menu, so you can make a night of it. In addition to the bars and clubs, there are also a number of restaurants in Maji Square that stay open late. So, if you are looking for a place to grab a bite to eat after you have been out partying, you will not have any trouble finding something. Here are some additional tips for enjoying the nightlife scene in Maji Square: Dress comfortably, but stylishly. Be prepared to wait in line at some of the more popular spots. Pace yourself and drink responsibly. Have fun! I hope this...

Regular old school steakhouse fare. Boring but done well and the beef is top quality. Took me back to 1972, cut vegetables with Thousand Island dressing for dipping, green salad (also with Thousand Island if you want it, I had Italian dressing on mine) and French onion soup with some cheese on bread on top. About as old school as you can get. But wait! There is more, nicely grilled steak, medium rare as ordered, served with a bit of brocolli, tomato and baked yam on a sizzling hot metal platter. Your choice of black pepper sauce or mushroom sauce if you like and a custard dessert as is the Taiwan standard in such places. The steak was really tasty and tender, nicely seasoned and cooked.

Service was good,; efficient, polite and steady. English in the menu too for those not able to manage 中文。Decor was as old school steakhouse style as everything else.

But boring...this style of steakhouse died a long time ago in north America and elsewhere but keeps on keeping on in Taiwan. The Hong Lu Steakhouse is one of many in Taipei but one of the better options in a nice location. A real treat would be to see some of these tired old spaces where they have a capable kitchen team, update the decor to this century and do the same...

Popular place for various types of people: families on weekends, farmers market on weekends, elderly exercising in the mornings, partygoers in the evenings (bars and clubs seem to be expanding the nightlife). The food court has variety and international foods but tends to be slightly overpriced and not necessarily tasty. The stinky tofu is good though as is the Vietnamese stand and Mexican stand (nachos pretty good). There are also places for shopping and other restaurants with storefronts. Wonderful place overall to visit multiple times. Weekdays are much more quiet for peaceful walks even at nights when the paths are lit. Planes descend overhead and can be a surprising sight as they land at Song Shan Airport. Weekends can get crowded so keep track of your little children. Bathrooms are clean and big but at the ends of the park. Free wifi though it can be choppy.

Decent variety of food stalls with both local and international cuisine, but the quality could be better. I've tried the Vietnam, Thai, and Mexican stalls and were all tasted okay. Prices can be a little high, but not as high as the restaurants in the square. On weekends, they have a local farmers market nearby. There is a carousel for kids and other stores selling goods, clothes, and gourmet food products. You can also walk around Yuanshan Park, and check out Taipei Fine Arts Museum, which is a 10 min walk away and also the Grand Hotel, which is in the same direction as the museum but a bit further out. During the World Cup this year, they also showed games here on a big screen with a projector. Overall, a good place for a date and/or for families.
