Tiki Taipei — Restaurant in Taipei

This bar unfortunately attracts the worst kinds of patrons, particularly aggressive drunks. A drunk guy there assaulted me thinking I stole his beer (which I really didn't) by chasing after me and grabbing me by the shirt collar that I had to pepper spray him in order to stop the threat. This is not the first time I have encountered hostile and violent drunk patrons at this bar. Furthermore, having a row of nails on top of the wooden railings of the VIP tables is also dangerous and people can be injured by that. Worse is that while crowding has improved, they really need to work on crowd control and have the staff more diligently clean up glass bottles and broken glass on the ground, as I have nearly slipped on that a few times and which they don't...

Edit: my personal experience was very bad, the drinks were poor quality and made me sick, for that kind of quality they should actually be free. But I guess not everyone is giving 5 stars review in exchange of free cheap alcohol.

Maybe the owner should focus more on the quality of Its business rather than feeling sensitive when a customer doesn’t like...

Always a good place with good ambience and good music on Weekend nights! It's good to come alone, but better to be with friends! But surely, you'll make friends!
