Duanyang Yao Yue Restaurant — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

Visited this place by myself to eat the individual hot pot... I chose the “Mongolian style spices hot pot” which was just ok, but probably will choose a different flavor next time. The set came with rice, mixed vegetables, a shrimp, 2 clams, choice of meat, one dipping sauce and a drink (black or green tea). I like that each table was like a private booth and there was free WiFi. There was multiple large groups here for lunch so it’s a good place for private group dining as well.

I can’t comment on the rest of the food but for the ambiance and nice service I would definitely come back. I enjoyed my “me time” and sat there for awhile just scrolling through my phone.

Also present your TaoYuan residence card and the service fee is waived. Perks are always...

Good hotpot and fried appetizers. Drinks were good also - not too sweet. Seating is great - you get your own private small room so it’s quiet. Service is sufficient. Location is not too far from train station - but a little difficult to find. If using Google, you need to go around the corner to the fist door and up the stairs. Not handicap accessible at all - two flights of narrow stairs to get to eating location....
