Hard, hard, hard pass. Not in any way, shape or form Mexican cuisine. I would personally like to recommend the owner to remove the Mexican Food section off of the menu. It was very poor quality, and I would not return to this restaurant. The waitress was super nice and polite, and the decor was Christmas themed which was really cool. They even had the Christmas music going. But when it comes to the food, I was extremely disappointed. The high ratings were misleading and I am happy to affect such to better align the reviews to what they are serving here. They used ground chicken which was still slightly pink, the nachos had shredded cheese that was just melted (Looked microwaved). The tacos were bland, cold and gross. They had this shakshuka dish, which was by far the best flavor out of the bunch but the submerged shrimp still had the tails on. The clam pasta was bland. And to top it all off, the salsa they serve is a canned crushed tomato that is ran through the blender with a few cilantro leaves. Not in any way considered salsa. No onions, salt, jalapeños.. just a washy tomato purée. I don’t know what else to say, besides don’t go here for Mexican food unless you want a stomach ache. Not to mention I spent over a hundred bucks USD which is pretty expensive considering the TWD to USD pricing...
Read moreThe food is a bit hilarious, the names are common foreign dishes as seen at Tex -mex restaurants however they don't actually know what those dishes are supposed to be like. A nacho comes with barely any toppings, dry and no guacamole or any sauces of any kind, they do not know how to create a taco and it basically is a convenient store wrap in a crunchy shell. The service is very friendly however they don't understand English well and don't know their own menu which makes ordering a little difficult.
However if you want a friendly environment with Asian style of dishes then it is great for...
Read moreForgot about this place for many years, but I'm glad to have rediscovered it. The food is quite good for Western fare, but we wanted extra salsa with everything to give it more flavor. The drinks were fine, but a little pricier than elsewhere. I think they are catering to the foreigners who might be staying at Kuva Hotel on business. Happens to be not too far from my neighborhood, though, so I think we'll be adding it to...
