This restaurant is really impressive me since I made a reservation from my phone called, before I made a reservation, I have noticed that the signature dishs need to be order two days before your visit day, so I've discussed with restaurant staff on the phone, I decided to order crispy pork knuckle in the end, after hang up the phone, the staff has had called me again and asked me if there have elderly people join the table? Due to the pork knuckle will be to tough for them to have it. This is the first positive impressoin I had from the restaurant side. When we visited today, unfortunately some accident happened on the way to the restaurant, I've called to the restaurant and told them the accident happened so I might be late to present on time, their answered was asked me "are you okay?" then asked us to take our time, they will wait for us~ this is the second positive impression I have from the restaurant. When we present to the restaurant, the staffs were warm welcoming us and asked if we are fine from the accident, this is third positive impressoin I had from the restaurant. Then we started took our ordered from the menu, the owner has known we are the first time visitors, he has very passion to explain the menu and provide extra dish which out of menu detaily to take our preference,after that the restarant owner has noticed the table will be too small to present all the food we've order, so he is very kind to changed bigger table for us even we only have two, when presenting the food, the staff will explained all the plate and condiments attentively with their warm smilewe really enjoyed the food, the test is very traditional for crispy pork knuckle and spaghetti that I had from European countries and very delicious, furthermore I am very enjoyed the excellent warm hospitality from this restaurant I definitely will bring my friend to visit again and again, this is a fantastic cafe restarent in Taipei. BTW, the owner has sharing the reason why signature dish needs to be order previously, it's because he wants to present the idea of "no food wasted", I am very support this idea!!
I hope the people who left the bad comments are able to take yourself to other people shoes to think about the situation from the restaurant side, when you are alone and requested bigger table, if it's available, the restarant will be definitely provided you, however they have other customers who also followed the rules to reservd a table and even need more spaces than you do! I believe the restaurant will always want to showing their warm hospitality all the time to give the best impression to their customer when it's possible and adjustable, but please do not take a granted to think that "you gave me big table last time why not this time?" Please be more appriciate. I will bring my other friends to come over again, we really have a good time in this place 😁 thank you all!
這是我第一次來到這間餐廳,在訂位時候就有非常好的印象~因為爬過文章知道這間餐廳的主廚料理需要兩天前預定,於是在打電話預約餐點時候決定點了其中一個招牌菜德國豬腳,掛完電話後餐廳的員工打來,跟我確定是否有較年長的客人要一起用餐?因為德國豬腳可能對於年長的客人會比較不好咬,當時就對這間店有了非常好的印象,覺得他們很貼心。 於今天用餐前,因為途中發生一點意外,擔心會無法準時抵達,於是就打電話到餐廳告知因為發生一點意外可能會晚到的訊息,他們聽到後反而關心我們說“ 你們還好嗎? 沒關係慢慢來,我們等你們過來” 這些事情讓我還沒去這間餐廳就對他們的服務有了非常好的印象。 在餐廳要開始點餐時候,老闆知道我們是第一次來用餐,非常熱心的推薦我們一些菜單上沒有的餐點,所以我們除了德國豬腳外也點了金莎海鮮義大利麵之後老闆發現我們的桌子太小可能無法放下所有餐點,於是很貼心的幫我們換到四人坐的大位置讓我們有個舒適的空間可以用餐餐點來後也細心的幫我們介紹所有餐點還有醬料並且送上溫暖的微笑餐點真的很好吃德國豬腳脆度很剛好讓我想起在德國時吃豬腳的回憶,金莎海鮮義大利麵濃郁又不膩的口感讓人印象深刻 後來老闆跟我們聊到為何他們需要特別預定才會準備主廚料理,只因為不想在看到更多食物被浪費掉了我非常支持這樣的理念 下面給一星評價的人們,希望你們可以更有同理心的站在別人的立場想事情,沒有一間餐廳願意去得罪任何客人,也會盡量滿足所有客人需求,所以如果因為妳一個人用餐要求要大桌,他們在情況允許下貼心安排給你,就不要不知道感恩的覺得你每次去都可以拿到大桌子,沒拿到就給負評!...

Since my friend has always wanted to try Beef Wellington, I’ve been looking everywhere for it and finally found this spot. I booked the table and ordered the Wellington set two days in advance. We arrived one hour early, but they still welcome us very friendly and seated us right away. A really warm and tiny place” is my first impression.
Start up with the shrimp salad with vinegar dressing, and then the bread with olive, garlic, tomato on top, and then the mushroom soup; everything is well-seasoned and appetizing. We can actually taste how many effort they put into the dishes.
Finally the beef Wellington came onto our table. Good presentation. The waitress explained how we should start and here we go, excellent taste, the steak is cooked perfectly and the vegetables on the side are superb.
My friend and I were both impressed of how everything is so well-done. We had a really pleasant experience here and would sure to come back again to try other dishes.

Okay then, and he explained, was nothing special.
Even though you said we are going to be waited for the cuisine, but never say how long is gonna take. I was literally waited an hour. and he stood very closely and look down us like the tower of Sauron. We were so under pressured while we eating.
