The best Taiwan Vibes that I’ve ever experienced, and you won’t wanna miss this gem!!

The boss and the staffs are very welcoming! Their enthusiasm is at next level which the last shop that I’ve experienced such was the one in Japan (and that they give the Taiwan vibes instead). Not to mention that they speak my language, which I feel the vibes even more! The manager (the golden retriever - 老大) is accompanying me for my meal, literally makes me melt. Dining here is more like dining in my friend’s house, except that these friends have great cooking skills. If there’s an award for service, i think they will get the 1st place!

If you are a foodie, you should definitely try them as well! Though I didn’t manage to try more dishes, those that I’ve tried (as shown in the picture) are very flavourful! The textures are complex, rich, but not heavy at all! Can’t believe I can taste such good foods with such a cheap price! I heard the boss discussed with the chef on my order, though not sure about the details (likely about the sauce, coz he provided me a richer sauce and told me I can change to the others anytime, which actually suits my taste very well) but can tell he’s actually trying his best to tailor the meals to suit our different yet unique tastebuds. For those that don’t take beef, there are still plenty of delicious choices here for you!

I was very surprised to see a place rated with 1000+ 5 star reviews. But I would really give their place an even higher rating if I could!

The food and service was amazing along with the kindness of the owner and their staff. They made me and my mom’s visit a truly unforgettable one. My mom loves beef noodles so I took her here for her birthday to try out, I was amazed by their hospitality and genuine kindness to me and my mom and all the customers there, the service was outstanding. They even made time to celebrate together with me and my mom for her birthday while they were busy running the restaurant, and made her feel so special, I couldn’t have even done a better job myself to do that for her! With the added bonus of their adorable and well behaved cute dog which brought such a welcoming vibe to the restaurant for our first time visit.

The food is very authentic and very well presented, we had the Taiwanese braised dish and other dishes which we highly recommend!

This is also a great place to come chill for local food and drinks for those who are visiting Taiwan and want to have authentic local dishes or for expats, they also speak fluent English. I hope to come back here again very soon on my next trip for their great hospitality and to try their other local dishes and drinks.

Wow! What a fantastic place.

I was there 3 times during my stay. The first time I mistakenly went to the restaurant next door (which has very good soup dumplings).

The second time I was kindly greeted by the manager, who happens to be the cutest golden retriever with a Pikachu backpack. Then I had the beef noodle soup with all sorts of different cuts/pieces of beef - which is up there with some of the best dishes I have ever had.

Finally, I went back a third time for the fantastic truffle dumplings and had the chance to chat to the owner, who is very friendly, can explain everything to you in flawless English (which is really refreshing when you're a foreigner and all the restaurant menus are a complete mystery to you) and is just a really great dude.

What else: they have a selection of really nice craft beers, you get addictive edamame or hot peanuts as free snacks, and they don't even accept tips (in cash or in kind). The only thing that beats the food here is the hospitality!

This has to be the best luwei shop in Taiwan. My rating is eleven out of ten. If I lived near this place, I would be...
