After riding Maokong Gondola, we just wondering what to eat for lunch. There are a lot of restaurant here, and mostly just like family restaurant where the main dish is for sharing together eat with rice.
At 春茶鄉 / chun cha xiang, it was quite crowded, but ther service was good. It's an indoor restaurant without air conditioner where we could see directly Taipei city view (including Taipei 101) from above.
We were group of three tried three main dishes (Fried Rice with Tea Leaf, Pork Ribs, and Vegatables) along with rice. Sorry, I couldn't mention the food name one by one because that time I was quite hungry and forgot to take picture of the menu 😂 Although we didn't feel any tea leaf taste on the fried rice, but overall the food tasted good. Don’t expect a 5 star restaurant in the rural hills. It’s a typical Taiwanese farmhouse restaurant that serves fresh local vegetables and chickens. The waitress goes out of her way to make your meal pleasant and will offer suggestions if you don’t know what to order. There are inexpensive prefix meals 1,200 nt (about $35 UDS) for 2 people.
