Neither my wife nor I will ever come back to eat here again. The manager 楊先生 was unapologetic, condescending, and impolite to my wife and me—extremely unprofessional. Our lamb was over cooked. We complained. He replied that nothing was wrong with it and gave long explanation and excuse of how they cook their lamb and steak. After complaining more, he eventually offered to give us credit and we could switch to any other dish. We chose some dessert. I used my credit card to pay. I immediately get a notice on my phone saying that I was charged. 楊先生 informs me that I needed to pay again. I asked why. He said rudely commented that the card didn’t go through on their POS and we still need to pay. I wasn’t going to pay twice so I refused. He demanded that we pay and refused to talk again to us. I had to call the credit card company to cancel the payment and try again to use it as I didn’t have enough cash on me. I was walking out to leave as I didn’t have reception inside the restaurant nor could I hear anything as there was love music. 楊先生 Said I couldn’t leave. I walked to the service station next door. The service there was extremely polite and professional. They helped us sort this situation back. I walked back inside the restaurant to pay. 楊先生 told me I shouldn’t have left. I explained why I did. He refused to listened. He then gave a lame apology to my wife about their POS (Point of Sale) software. It was the first apology of the evening. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I don’t need to hear your excuses. Mistakes happen in the restaurant industry. Apologize and move on....
Read moreI went in a week night when it was empty and got pretty good service even though I was almost finished with my drinks when the food arrived. They have a buy one get one free beer deal from 9 pm til closing I came on a Saturday night it wasn’t packed but it took like ten to 15 minutes for me to get seated and there was no service but you order with your phone and the QR code and the two beers came at the same time which I would rather have one at a time I told the server and they said upon ordering via smart phone you need to make a note but there’s no where to make a note from the ordering menu asked again and was ignored. Good thing it’s a regular pint not no German size pitcher. The good thing is that the food didn’t take so long the second time. The Taiwanese like to say s. O. P. Standard operating procedure I think is the problem. That’s probably why it’s not full on a Saturday night given that they have one of the best micro brews in tw. Read moreI wish I could rate below 1 star. This visit was a complete disgrace. Absolutely no service. Huge restaurant, extremely under-staffed. Food came out cold. Waited over 90 mins for 2 glasses of juice. We were one of the first diners, however, many of the later tables were served both food and drinks before us. Even after inquiring with a waiter multiple times. In the end, I had to go to the bar personally, to which I found the juices were waiting at the end of the bar, whereas all the beers were placed at the front of the bar. Basically, our juices were neglected because all available servers simply come be collect whatever drinks are placed at the front.
