Worst ice cream I have ever tasted! My kids who love ice cream wouldn't have a 2nd bite. We ordered the CA cookie cream and it had a strange sandy texture in the mouth. When I asked my 9 years old son if he liked it after he stopped eating it, he said: " I like every ice cream unless it tastes disgusting! ". That was what what prompted me to taste it, and yes, it was disgusting, it tasted like sand! We exchanged it to rock n roll, and he stopped after one bite again, it was the same, sandy taste in the mouth. I was told the sandy taste is milk powder. Ice cream made out of milk powder? We got our money back. The strawberry flavor was alright, it was at least a smooth texture. The coffee also tasted like something rotten, maybe the milk was bad? It was a very bad experience and this place is also very pricy. I don't how they could keep a business.

I visited this ice cream shop while in Taipei and was quite disappointed. I asked to sample the flavors before ordering, as I usually do, but was told they don’t offer samples — supposedly due to Covid. I’ve been in Taipei for a week now, visiting a different ice cream shop every day, and this is the only one so far that refused samples.

Given the high prices, I find that unacceptable. I had the peanut butter and matcha flavors. The matcha was okay, but the peanut butter tasted like a poor imitation of Ben & Jerry’s — bland and unremarkable. Overall, the quality didn’t justify the cost.

As a huge matcha lover, I had a double scoop in cup ($230, minimum charge was $180) with Guilt Free Matcha ice cream and Salted Caramel & Praline Pecan (the cone topped was free, not free for the Waffle Dish). The guilt free matcha actually tasted distinctive and much better than I expected. It was less sweet but the authenticity of matcha stand out more. Furthermore, the other flavour was relatively sweet and quite delicious as well and the ice cream here had quite sticky texture. Overall, it’s a 10 out of 10!
