Ginto Soup Curry — Restaurant in Xinyi District

i had the 厚切牛排 Curry Soup

the soup tasted great, and the service was nice despite there being only 2 staff

i deduct 1 star for a few reasons

1. the steak was cooked just right but super tough with sinew. would be nice to have a knife.
2. upon serving it wasn’t explained what should be done with the lemon. do i squeeze it in the curry or rice?
3. it was a small inconvenience to have to come in to put myself on the waiting list. i would recommend having the list outside like a lot of other restaurants. it will also free...

Having been to Sapporo, I had pretty high hopes for this soup curry place. Food was nicely presented, the location is good, the portions are small but sort of adequate. It's half the price of Japan but a bit pricey for Taiwanese standards. Curry was average, slightly soupier but still good. Perfect for a cold winter day. Level 3 spiciness is barely spicy. I think most people can handle level 4. The sliced beef was really good though. Free soft drinks with a Google review. No credit...

Although the dish was modest and there weren't many vegetables in the pot, the soup curry tasted nice. The price is a little high for the portion size.

The employees provided adequate service, however they failed to explain the menu and other information. At the very end, we learned that the water section is self-service. I question whether a 10% service fee is actually necessary. Everyone can see that we are the only ones eating during lunch...
