We only waited about 5 minutes before the waitress seated us. The aroma of the restaurant instantly reminded me of Hokkien Mee or Prawn Mee back in Malaysia. Reached there on CNY Day 1 around 230pm, was informed that rice items and dumpling was not out of stock.
Ordered the original shrimp salt soup base with Taiwanese flavor. Taiwanese flavor was the lightest among the 3 but was good enough for me, it was a nice blend of the shrimp and pork broth but the shrimp flavor was stronger.
My brother had the moderate flavor and my dad had the original, they finished the soup so I guessed it was good 😛
You can request for clear soup to be added if you find your soup too salty/strong for your liking.
Do save some space for their ice cream, it was really milky sweet. I think it’s from Hokkaido milk.
