Atmospheres: Relatively spacious restaurant inside Eslite with low ambient noise and a relaxed dining atmosphere.
Service: Polite and efficient. for the most part the service worked as a team and generally carried themselves with positivity. Certainly made things more relaxing. Didn't seem like many of them spoke English, so be ready to speak Chinese a bit.
Food: Best part was the complimentary side buffet, stocked clear up until closing, offering some choice lox, cheeses, sausages, and of course salads in addition to ice cream. Onto the steak. We ate a bunch of steak on this visit, even picked up a tomahawk which they did a great job presenting and portioning, ensuring we could try each cut taken from it. All the steaks were expertly cooked, there was really nothing you could say bad about it other than it seems the marbling wasn't very high so the steak didn't have a strong flavor. Salting a bit more may have helped, but in general the steak was not very fatty, even on the ribeye.
It's a good steak house that knows...

This is also not Robin's grill in price point, but accessible for inviting without an expense account and apart from birthdays. Eslite card brings the usual 10% reduction. All the food is very good, the wines, too. The service is very careful, and the personnel pleasant. They even manage to give you the table you want, after they have said they cannot. Yes, reservation before the day is best. This works beautifully for couples, groups, and orderly families. A child in "monster university" logo wear is welcome, and the boy I saw yesterday was well behaved at the salad with fruit and ice cream bar. The parents' duty managed by them well through good sense in other things. The room is very airy and pleasant, the view of Taipei 101 a treat to share. In short, bonum est nos hic esse -- my sentiment...
Read moreDined here couple times. Main courses were delicious; espically steaks, they were outstanding. Set meals also came with a buffet with few choice of salads, fruits, ice cream and light food in the middle of the restaurant. Environment are great, good atmosphere. It was very pleasure to be seated by window that could view night 101 tower easily. This restaurant is owned by Regent hotel actually; therefore, the service was up to the hotel quality as well. Price was reasonable considering all factors above. Steaks were not the top quality in town, but overall,...
