Just Fresh Meat Dumplings — Restaurant in Yilan City

The soup dumplings are good. They only have one type of filling, mixture of spring onion with pork. The dumplings might look flat but is still very juicy and oozing with soup. I find it a little too sweet for me but overall still quite good. We came on a Saturday around 1pm and managed to get the last number for the day. They told us to come back before 3pm. My recommendation is to get there early (maybe before 1pm) order and get a number first, walk around and go back at the recommend time. Although they closes at 3 but once all numbers are given out they won't accept any...

As for the food itself, it is a cheap xiao long bao place. Place's nickname is Poor People's Ding Tai Feng. Personally I find their xiao long baos to be just okay but at 70NT per stack of 10 there is really nothing to complain about. To me, its not really worth the wait unless you have something to do around the area.

Doesn't matter how early you go be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour. Luckily the store tells you to place an order, pay, and then come back within a certain time - freeing you up to go down the street to the park/old...
