This is a Vietnamese-style steakhouse that sounds very special. Because many classmates recommend this restaurant, my friends and I decided to try it. Here is my evaluation:
(1) The transportation is very convenient. The location of the restaurant is close to the LUNA PLAZA, and there are enough parking spaces nearby.
(2) The environment and atmosphere in the restaurant are very good, but the space is a little smaller and the seats are less.
(3) The design of the menu is very intimate. The menu on the table is very detailed, the introduction including the basic meal ingredients and sauce taste. This allows guests who are unfamiliar with Vietnamese tastes to know about the meals that may be right for them through the menu.
(4) "Gluten free" people is suitable, "Vegetarian" is not suitable. The specialty of this restaurant is that the main food in the restaurant is river powder instead of noodles. One of us was unable to eat noodles because of allergy to gluten. Therefore, this feature is more attractive to us. However, the "no meat" dishes on the menu seem to have only the iron plate river powder.
(5) The taste of the meal is very novel, the amount is moderate. I ordered the iron plate river powder of fried black pepper sauce, the amount is acceptable. The black pepper sauce here is very spicy. The side meal has Vietnamese soup and bread. The soup tastes a bit like a hot and sour soup, good to drink, serving with bread can increase satiety.
(6) The service attitude is normal. We don't have much contact with the waiters. The restaurant gives customers a high degree of dining freedom.

For the sauces, kids are ok with the Vietnamese sauce and curry sauce. Adults live the spicy lemongrass and black pepper sauces. Apparently, the black pepper is from Vietnam so it has a stronger flavor than Taiwan pepper.

特色料理一直是筆者的喜愛,偶然看到越式牛排的介紹,就一路搜尋下去,發現店家就在宜蘭,因此就利用下班後的晚餐時間衝一波,來試試越南風格的牛排會是怎樣的表現。
1.鮮:10/10
1491越南牛排強調選用原塊肉現煎處理,肉質保有自然彈性與纖維感,而非重組牛排,而配餐如越式泡菜、河粉,湯品等,也明顯能品嘗出整體新鮮度的表現良好。
2.色:10/10
料理色彩相當鮮豔誘人,主餐牛排帶有迷人的煎痕與油亮色澤,搭配上店家特製的專屬沾醬,明顯有別於台式牛排的蘑菇醬與黑胡椒醬,極具獨特風格。各式配餐如越式泡菜、翠綠香菜、米白河粉與金黃色法國麵包等各色食材,讓餐桌上有著各種色彩,層次豐富,具有相當高的食慾引導力。
3.香:10/10
1491的料理富含香料香氣,尤其是香茅、魚露與越南辛香料的使用,當熱騰騰的鐵板牛排上桌時,隨著熱氣飄散著的香味撲鼻,令人食指大動。特色醬汁如香茅麻辣醬、椰香咖哩醬,也為整體香氣增添變化,讓食客們從氣味上就感受到異國風情。
4.味:8/10
融合越南與西式口味的風格令人驚喜。牛排本身香煎酥香,搭配自選兩款醬汁可調整濃淡,醬汁有的濃郁(如咖哩)、有的微酸辣(如越式醬),味道對比強烈但不衝突,整體口味新穎、有記憶點。
5.烹飪:10/10
牛排煎製熟度掌控得宜,外酥內嫩,不過熟也不帶血水。越南河粉保持滑順不糊爛,自助區的法國麵包也提供自行加熱選項,也貼心地設定好加熱時間,保留外酥內軟的口感而不烤焦。
6.服務:7/10
店員態度親切,進門後會協助安排座位,並且主動介紹,尤其是解說醬料選擇的選擇,甚至還會招待一些特色小點,讓客人充滿驚喜。無預約制可能會造成等待,但整體流程安排順暢,點餐與送餐速度適中,服務效率良好。
7.環境:7/10
裝潢以工業風與南洋元素融合,環境乾淨整潔,座位安排上也極為寬廣,有冷氣空調與舒適座椅,搭配店內光線設定上較為昏暗,皆是用來營造輕鬆舒適的用餐氛圍,十分適合情侶、小家庭或朋友聚餐。
8.費用:8/10
價格區間帶其實落差蠻大的,餐點的種類選擇也多,除了主餐之外,還有簡單的自助吧,若點選較低價的主餐,那店家的CP值仍然很高;以類似價位牛排餐廳來看,1491多了越南風格與創意搭配,是個很大的加分項。
9.交通:8/10
位於宜蘭市區文化路上,鄰近新月廣場,周邊白線可臨停,也有付費停車場,對開車族與搭乘大眾運輸者都算便利。
10.友善:7/10
即便店內可用空間並不大,但店家顯然很在意客戶的用餐舒適度,無論是裝潢、燈光及座位的安排上,都讓人感到輕鬆寫意不煩燥,是個能輕鬆自在的用餐場域。
總分:85/100
總結:老實說,這口味確實很特殊,但也很取決於每個人對於口味的喜好,原本筆者自認很能接受各種異國料理,但也不得不承認,這越式的醬料並不合筆者胃口,雖然整體而言知道是好吃的,但就是組合在一起之後,反而覺得不對味;但如果你對越式料理融合創意牛排有興趣,1491越南牛排是個值得一試的地點。
