Great food!

When staying in Ita Thai you will soon realize that most restaurants shut early, you can still get a bit of street food but if you want to sit down then your options are limited after 7pm.

This was pretty much the only restaurant open at 7:30, it was on our short list so we thought we would give it a go.

Glad we did, the food was great! I think it’s mostly local food but everything we had was super tasty. The lardy rice (rice with nuts and dryer onions) is small but definitely with a try. My favorite was probably the venison. They gave us a small bowl of chili when we asked, it was super tasty, if you like spicy food then it’s a must taste!

Amazing foods! We ate here 3 times because it’s so good. The fish, venison, and pork dishes are delicious. But the highlights are the vegetables and rice dishes. Cask rice, bamboo rice and lardy rice are nothing like we ever had.

There is so much complexity in every dish. Somehow the chef in his tiny outdoor kitchen was able to achieve the balance and depth of flavors found in michelin star restaurants.

Wait line can get pretty long but it moves quickly. Like us, everyone wolfs down their food. A must try restaurant...

We ordered the four person set. This was not a good meal. The fish had all the meat removed except a little bit by the bones. It did not taste good with all the bones.
