If you actually like a good coffee, then go here. An excellent cafe, providing a a really good selection of excellently prepared coffee, delivered with a cupping glass to allow you to enjoy the aroma prior to drinking. I enjoyed the Kenyan and Ethiopian, both delicious and served at perfect temperature..
The food selection on menu is small but sufficient despite the menu definitions they provide a rather Taiwanese spin on a dishes, (a rather odd collection of ingredients bundled on a plate) but fresh and tasty. Guys we really needed a spoon for the yogurt though.
The desert collection is excellent and delicious, I opted for the Rum and Raisin cheesecake, which was delivered on a wooden platter with a cute Koala dusted in castor sugar on the side.
The best part however was the staff, English speaking, very welcoming, cheerful and bright, completing an overall excellent experience.
Highly recommended to all those jaded by all the 'brown water' chains/cafe's that pass themselves off as Coffee vendors in Taiwan.

在澳洲很少有那麼小份又貴的café餐點?!
不過,服務很親切就是了… 只是不會因為服務親切就繼續捧場,因為整體CP值有點低。
(written on Jan 07 2019) To reply to the business owner,
I understand where you are coming from. But, please don't get offended. I lived in Australia in many different cities for many many years so you could say that I've seen quite a lot with the serving sizes.
I appreciate your reply and your honesty. I think those who support your café will continue to support, regardless of what words I said/used in my comments. As a true aussie always say everyone deserves a "fair go". I gave your business a go, so, I'd encourage everyone to try it for themselves to know. Don't just take other people's word for it.
I hope your business will continue to grow.
Warm regards,
P.s. I've changed some of the wording. So, it wouldn't look as...
Read moreAs a wandering doctoral student who's always looking for places to read and write, this place checks all the boxes. The vibe is laid-back and comfortable, with a really welcoming "neighborhood coffee shop" feel. It's quiet without feeling like you can't have a conversation. The wall outlets are plentiful (which is not a given in Taipei coffee shops). The drinks are delicious and exquisitely presented. The sandwiches and curry are tasty, and just the right portion to fill you up without falling into a food coma. And the owner (? manager? the man I usually interact with!) is friendly and welcoming.
Whether you're coming to get some work done, or just to relax in a neighborhood gem, this is a...
