Soi 13 in — Local services in Taipei

A nice sauna with good facilities, many hot guys and lots of fun to be had but the pricing for foreigners is incredibly discriminatory. Imagine going to a gay sauna in a major city of any modern country and being charged more than double based on your ethnicity? Such a venue would likely face massive fines or have it's license suspended but in Taiwan it’s apparently acceptable?? As a tax paying resident it certainly doesn’t make you feel welcome or part of the community. If anything it makes you feel like they are deeply xenophobic and trying to keep foreigners out. It’s also seriously weird being ripped off at the door because you’re a foreigner and then walking inside to see advertising everywhere fetishizing imagery of Caucasian men. Great gay sauna. I am a 68 year old English tourist that travels for 3 months every year in S E Asia and love visiting local sauna’s. I read many bad reviews for this place as the charge is much higher for us than locals…..hay guys if you don’t like the price DONT GO, and remember the wealth gap between most of us verses local young people. There are great facilities on several floors including free hot and cold drinks. My only slight issues are the private rooms could be cleaned more as they were littered with used condoms and wrappers from the same and lube, and they could improve the rather strong smell of poo with some quality air freshener machines. SCAM AND DISCRIMINATION. AVOID. Price was 1000NTD which is about $30 USD it was NOT worth it and overpriced. From what I heard, they change the prices for foreigners all the time.

Someone said he paid 800NTD. I paid 1000NTD it was definitely NOT worth it.

There's definitely a lot of discrimination here towards foreigners.

If you're a foreigner just be aware that this is a Asia party and Asian guys prefer other asians . I DID NOT see any of the foreigners getting any luck or that much action.
