Dining at Cres Art Philippine Cuisine is like enjoying a home-cooked feast infused with warmth and hospitality. Our meal was a delightful showcase of Filipino flavors, with every dish leaving a lasting impression.
The Sinigang na Baboy was the perfect balance of tangy and savory, with tender pork and fresh vegetables swimming in a rich, comforting broth. The Binagoongan was a standout – the savory-sweet bagoong perfectly complemented the melt-in-your-mouth pork. The Pork Adobo was a classic done right: the meat was flavorful and juicy, marinated in a delicious blend of soy sauce, vinegar, and spices. To round out the meal, the Chopsuey brought a medley of crisp, colorful vegetables in a light and flavorful sauce – a perfect contrast to the richer dishes.
What truly elevated the experience was the warm welcome from Ms. Imelda, the owner. Her friendliness and genuine care for her guests made us feel right at home. She took the time to check on our table, ensuring we were happy with every dish and sharing her passion for her craft.

Read moreFirst and foremost, the owner (Ate) is incredibly friendly and pleasant to chat with. I genuinely enjoyed interacting with her, and she made the overall dining experience more enjoyable.
However, I must mention that one of the waitresses, who happened to be from the Philippines, was quite rude. Despite my attempts to communicate in both English and Chinese, she insisted on speaking to me solely in Filipino, a language I don't understand. It was frustrating, as I had to repeatedly request her to converse in a language I could comprehend, but she disregarded my requests.
Moving on to the food, I found it to be average overall. While I tried various dishes such as longanisa, karekare, caldereta, and adobo, none of them truly stood out. The taste was decent but nothing extraordinary. Moreover, I found the portion sizes to be quite small considering the prices charged, which I felt were too high.
Among the dishes I sampled, the one standout item was their ube yam dessert. It had a delightful flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, was disappointed with the portion size, especially considering the relatively steep price of...
Read moreFood was delicious and very authentic! Owner was super nice too, made me feel like I was back in the Philippines. Place is also very well kept. On your first visit, order their pork barbecue, we could’ve ordered more but it was late and the only person working was the owner and the barbecue took quite long since she was also cooking our other orders simultaneously, but when we do come at the right time, we would probably stuff ourselves with their pork barbecue. We also ordered beef caldareta, personally my favorite home cook dish. My other Indonesian friends loved it because it reminds them of a similar dish called “semur”. This is actually the very first time that my Indonesian friends ever tasted filipino dish. They said that the taste is uncanny meaning that it’s similar but not quite, and for me means that the trip to this restaurant was a success and I have chosen the right place! In conclusion: this place offers Filipino a sense of home, and for the first-timers a great experience.
