This is a pretty decent Tapas restaurant in Taipei even though I miss a couple specialities.
So what was good/great during my first visit?
The mussels in white wine sauce are fantastic. Authentic broth, great taste, fresh, the way they should be.
The tortilla was also great. Loved the sauce on top of it.
My god the spinach dip. It's a waste killer but I loved every single bit of it.
The classic sangria is great... not it's to die for. It immediately transferred my mind to the beaches of the Balearic islands.
What's average?
Chicken skewer... ok'ish but not overwhelming.
The pork was ok but kinda cold.
The cold slices... I think they are way overpriced and just average, especially the sausages.
The garlic bread was pretty blend
What's meh?
No water and bread! That's an absolute no-go! You have to make sure that these essentials are available for free of charge. You can still charge for extra bread but this is a given!
What they need to add?
Where are the patatas bravas? Guys this is such a simple dish that every Tapas bar provides. Please, I'm begging you... change this!
What about octopus? Maybe a fried baby octopus with some lemon!
And last but not least Chorizo sausage, the allstar of all Tapas places.
Add it, work on the average dishes and improve the bread situation and you guys are killing it to the point where I come over with all...

On the other hand, beef stew was ok. I’m glad that the beef tripe was cooked well ; no bad smells (meaning they clean it nice) and super tender. 🙆♀️
The downside was on the fried calamari.. I don’t think it’s qualified to call it calamaris.. it’s hard to chew and not the type of calamari that you can easily bite softly. The coating wasn’t so pleasant either.. overall I can still force myself to finish it but it’s just not it. Regret that I didn’t follow another review that says to choose...

The place also had a huge screen casting sport event. So I can imagine it’d be fun on game night. Or any major sporting events.
About the food, I’d definitely come back. We’ve tried several and most of them were delicious. Perhaps only 1/5 I wouldn’t reorder, but majority of what we tried we were happy with. Would recommend and would be...
